Is Pre tribulation rapture Biblical?

Of course it is. It is self evident in scripture. It is right in front of you. I see people every day who believe in a pre trib rapture simply because it is what they have been taught, and a pre wrath rapture fits the nature of the Lord and his character. It also fits the model of the Jewish wedding, where the groom calls out his bride with a shout.

But I have saw very few that could prove and defend the pre tribulation rapture with un disputable fact from the scripture. I hope this provides folks with the means to do just that.

My friend, the rapture is the greatest hope and blessing a believer has today.  Our future is so bright, we cannot even imagine what the Lord has in store for us. Our future begins with the  rapture.

The rapture is the Lord’s promise that we will not have to endure what those after the rapture and an unbelieving world will have to go through. Again, in keeping with the Lord’s character, even Israel will be preserved and protected during the first 3.5 years of the tribulation, and in the last half, he will provide shelter to the remnant.

I have not ran across or heard the line of reason as I present here concerning the rapture, but I hope it edifies and strengthens the body of Christ .

Feel free to share this information, verify it with your own study,  teach it in your Bible studies , in witnessing to others,  preach it from your pulpits of all denominations. If you have a question, or comment, or a word, just drop me a line

I don’t believe in putting a price on the truth, and this is the greatest encouragement we as a body of believers has today. The Lord has blessed me with a desire to learn and a thirst for the scriptures. The greatest reward is knowing it strengthens and encourages other believers.  It thrills me to encourage, and strengthen people in their faith and hope as believers.   “therefore, comfort each other with these words”.

Let us begin: Is the pre tribulation rapture Biblical? Sure it is. It makes perfect sense.

For those that deny a rapture of the saints, or a pre tribulation rapture, They have a huge logical hurdle they must overcome. They must first explain where all those people in Rev 5:9-10 came from and how they got there before the tribulation begins. The tribulation starts in Rev 6. Go figure. Rev 18 winds up the tribulation.  I first observed this While studying Revelation for one of my previous blogs. I have not saw any information that makes the connection between the saints in heaven in Revelation chapter 5 and the beginning of the tribulation in Chapter six of Revelation.

1 Thess 3:13 says Jesus returns with all his saints.  The saints have to leave before they can return with him.

.Revelation 5 is rock hard proof of the pre tribulation rapture. In Revelation 5, The saints from the OT, “the elders” (indicates they have been there longer than the assembly) and after the cross up to the rapture are standing in an assembly in revelation chapter 5:9-10. IN HEAVEN. BEFORE the tribulation begins. The removal of the first seal from the scroll in Rev 6 starts the tribulation.

I have had folks tell me “but Revelation is not chronological” Well, generally speaking, it is , and  Revelation 5 and 6 are undeniably chronological. They are  linked together by the scroll with seven seals.

Rev 5:1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

Jesus receives the scroll in Rev 5:7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

The first seal is removed in Rev 6.

Rev 5:8And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.

And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

This is not “Israel” here. It is a mixed multitude of believers from all nations and all races.

These are the OT saints from Matthew 27:52-53 and the NT saints from 1 Thes 4:;17 in this assembly. The first two phases of the first resurrection. The three phases of the First resurrection harvest mirror the Jewish harvest as well as the three major feasts of the Jewish Year. Pesach, Shavout, and Succoth. This is even more confirmation.

Jesus removes the first seal in revelation chapter 6, beginning the tribulation.

6;1And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.

And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.

Rev 19 is the marriage of the Lamb, immediately following this Jesus returns and destroys the antichrist and his army at Armegeddon and sets up his kingdom.

You and I will be kings and priests in the thousand year reign. We have a lot to look forward to. We are not appointed to wrath.

The collective influence of the worlds 3 billion believers is the only thing stopping the beast from rising. Once this body of believers is removed, there will be no restraint.

There will be believers during the tribulation. Billions will come to Christ, but most will be killed for their faith. These will mainly be gentiles since Israel will have 3.5 years of peace and security because of a treaty with the antichrist.

There will be a revival in Israel and across the world, Israel will be overrun in the last half, “Jacobs trouble”. Most all will be killed as martyrs.

A remnant of Israel will survive, probably at Petra across the Jordan river. Israel already has an agreement with Jordan for access to Petra should the need arise. Petra is across the Jordan river.

The remnant will weep, as a mother for her son when they see Jesus coming in clouds of glory with his saints.

Jesus will rescue this remnant and lead them across Jordan back into their homeland.

Paul says in 1 Thes 4:13-17 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.

The Rapture surely cannot come till the Resurrection. Which occurs in Rev. 20. You want to talk chronological then be that please. This is Clearly the first Resurrection. The one Jesus said would come on the last day. THE last day not day’s it any other way you try to spin it. You believe the Testimonyof Jesus or you follow the traditions of man. The truths in the Gospels were preceded by Prophecy of the Old Testament. The truths if the end time was preceded by the Testimonyof Jesus in the Gospels.

The rapture will occur at the barley harvest of the NT saints. There will be more harvests after the rapture, but only the dead believers. The gleanings those killed after the rapture will be raised when Jesus returns. The first resurrection is a harvest, not a one day event, and the rapture occurs simultaneoulsy at the barley harvest.

The first resurrection is a series of harvests that began at the cross, and ends in rev 20:4-6. The resurrection of the martyrs in rev 20 comes AFTER the taking of the bride 7 years prior. The rapture CANNOT occur at the end of the tribulation, or there would be no mortals to go onto the mellinial reign to repopulate the earth. Glorified saints do not marry or reproduce. You lack understanding.

What you do not understand is the first resurrection is a series of harvests. The rapture takes LIVING believers. Dead believers arose with Christ, and will rise WITH us in the rapture, and will rise AFTER we are gone. See my post “the first resurrection harvest”
