Matt 13:=9 So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, and separate the wicked from among the just, and shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
The first resurrection mirrors the Jewish harvest. You have the first fruits in Matt 27:52-53. (IS 26:19)
“MANY, (not all) of the saints that slept came out of their graves at his resurrection”
This was a PARTIAL resurrection, but ALL the souls of the saints who were in in Sheol “paradise” before the cross are all now in heaven with Jesus.
This began the first resurrection harvest. The Barley is the first crop to ripen, and Jesus arose on the feast of first fruits. On this day, the Jewish temple priest offered a handful of barley on the altar in the Temple. As this was taking place, Jesus offered the first fruits harvest of saints to his Father in the heavenly tabernacle.
Next, when it is fully ready, 2000 years later, the barley harvest is reaped in 1 Thess 4:13, “the dead in Christ shall rise first” These are the dead saints since the cross up to the rapture, and any not raised in Matt 27:52-53
Immediately following this comes the first fruits of the wheat (living saints at the rapture) 1 thess 4:16-17, “then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up, and meet the Lord in the air, so shall we ever be with the Lord” (see also John 14)
The rapture is the catalyst for the formation of the beast, the beast being the UN, China, Russia, Britian, the Muslim caliphate, and the Vatican.
There will not be a single Christian on earth for a time, so there won’t be any resistance to the formation of this worldwide government. They will enslave the world. It will be a terrible time. Don’t be left behind.
At the beginning of the tribulation period, two prophets will come to preach on the streets of Israel,
Israel will be protected by a peace treaty with the beast during this first 3.5 years. Then Jacob’s trouble begins. At the mid point of the tribulation, the 2 prophets will be killed and resurrected after 3.5 days, and Israel will be betrayed, and overrun at this the midpoint of the tribulation, But the two prophets will have began a worldwide revival, and millions will believe in the Lord, and be martyred for their faith in Jesus. These are the olive harvest.
At the mid point comes the reaping of the olives. In Rev 11:11, Thos raised will be the two prophets, the two olive trees, and logically their fruit, olives, those who believed in Jesus and were martyred after rapture up to this point.
There are still 3.5 years left in the tribulation,
The tribulation grinds along, and the beast wears out the saints. Millions more believe, and are killed for their faith and testimony.
At some point near the end of the tribulation is the wheat harvest. (“Put in the sickle and reap, and the earth was reaped”) in Rev 14:16,
Another harvest follows this one in short order, but these are UNbelievers. These are the grapes in Rev 14:19(unbelievers killed at Armegeddon), They are gathered, and thrown into the wine press (the battle of Armegeddon),
During all this, WE are at the marriage supper of the Lamb in heaven.
Close to the end, Jesus leaves the wedding in heaven briefly, and steals away to return and make the earth safe for his saints and his bride.
He meets Anti Christ at Armageddon, and destroys his army. He treads the wine press alone, meaning just that, he is alone, a one man war.IS 63:3 (“I tread the wine press alone, and of the people there was none with me:for I will tread them in my anger, and trample them in my fury; their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my garments”)
We wait “in our chambers as it were”, in heaven. (IS 26:20 “go into the chambers, and shut the doors about thee: hide thyself as it were, till the indignation is past”)
Shortly after this, Jesus goes back for us, and opens the door to heaven. He then returns with his saints, (Rev 19, 1 Thess 3:13), with the blood of the battle still on his vesture.
And now, finally, the last harvest, The gleanings in rev 20:4. These are the martyrs killed after the last harvest up Jesus return.
The marriage supper was unannounced, and because of this, it lasted a week to allow whosoever would, to come to the marriage. Very few saints miss the marriage supper.
But for those that do, after the marriage supper of the Lamb in heaven, Jesus returns with us, sets up his kingdom and then begins ANOTHER , even longer marriage feast, the bridal feast at the Brides mothers house.
“many will come from the east and west, and North and South, and sit down with Abraham in the kingdom” directions indicate an “earthy” context.
So look up, Be ready. The Lord may call us home any moment. We are not appointed to wrath, We have so much to look forward to,
“Therefore comfort one another with these words”
