Rightly dividing the Word of truth: a word of caution.

Two words: STAY AWAY.

I have been down the RD road. Studied it. I have been to the “conferences” it is doctrinal poison, and an eschatological house of cards.

While no doubt as ignorant as they are well intentioned, basically what “right dividers” do is over complicate the Bible, placing un due, and unnecessary “divisions” and distinctions in the Bible where none exist. It evolves into a pigeon hole doctrine that gets worse and worse.

I am not pushing my pet interpretations here, And it is not a salvific issue. Mark and avoid these teachers.

Its their METHODOLOGY and eschatology that is in error. It is rooted in Bullingetism.

The greatest fundamental error of “right division” as it’s commonly called today is this:

Instead of looking for harmony and agreement in the Bible, and the scriptures, they cherry pick and contrast perceived “differences” that in most cases are not there, and if there IS a difference, it doesn’t amount to beans anyway. They make a big deal about Paul, Why? I do not know. See acts 26:22-23 But the end result is confusion.

Christ is not divided. ALL of his propbets and apostles shared the same fundamental doctrines. Be not deceived.

I have several blog posts about it. There are several about Paul, and there a few that explains his authorship of Hebrews and another 2 about RD errant doctrines. Also see “fundamental errors of the mid acts doctrine” and “more mid acts errors”

Why Paul was different.

The reason Paul was “the apostle to the gentiles” is quite simple, and it is not because of what these heretical preachers and teachers preach.

Paul did not preach anything fundamentally different than the 12. They ALL preached the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, as did Moses, Jesus and the prophets.

The reason Paul was different:

Paul had a passport. He could TRAVEL.

Paul was a free born Roman citizen, but also Jewish. And a Pharisee. Pharisees had authority in the Jewish church.

Paul was uniquely qualified, at a unique time in history.

Only a Roman citizen was allowed unrestricted travel anywhere in the Roman empire.

Non Romans did not have that privilege, ESPECIALLY non Roman Jews. Paul did.

The 12 were all non Roman Jews, and were limited (initially) to the confines of Israel. Unless of course they were traveling with a ROMAN CITIZEN. Like Paul for example.

Paul also had another credential the 12 did not have, but not a “different doctrine”

Paul was a pharisee, and a highly honored one at that. A pharisee had unlimited, anytime access to any pulpit, in any synagogue, in any nation in the Roman empire.

1 Cor 9:1. Am I not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? are not ye my work in the Lord?

Acts 26:22-23 Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come: That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.

I have several Ppsts about Paul. Take a look!

God bless!

The pattern of the Jewish wedding in the New Testament and Revelation. The short version.

A few scriptures pointing to the pattern of the Jewish wedding in the New Testament. There are many more.

John 14:2-3 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. (alluding to the time before the fetching of the bride when the bridegroom builds the couple a home on his fathers property, or as an addition to his father’s house.)
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (alluding to the Nuisan, the point in the betrothal where the bridegroom is told to “fetch your bride”. This being after he has completed the bridal chamber, and the father approves. He goes to get his bride, surprising her, usually in the dead of night.

1 thess 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: (rapture of the bride immediately following the harvest of the barely, the dead in Christ shall rise first, the dead NT saints.)

1 cor 11:2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. (Paul).

Eph 5:31-32 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

John 3:29 He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled. (John the Baptist).

Rev 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

Rev 21:9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.

Rev 22:7 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. The Lord loves us. He will not ever abandon, nor forsake us. Considering the character and nature of my Jesus, how anyone could believe he would allow his bride, HIS BODY , to go through the fires of the tribulation is beyond me. (As if we Christians arent persecuted enough already). Pre tribulation rapture deniers don’t understand that there will be different companies of saints that come after us. We are not in the company of saints that are killed, go through the tribulation. Nor are we in the company of saints alive when we return with the Lord. And the ONLY reason THESE saints are not raptured is simply because they were NOT SAINTS at the time of the rapture.

There WILL be believers that go through the fire, but only because they were not believers at the time our Lord Jesus calls his saints home to the marriage supper. They believed during the tribulation.

Personally, I feel most of these will be former muslims and atheists,
That stands to reason since the removal of the worlds Christians would leave 1.5 billion of them, as well as another 1 billion atheists in China to rule by default in our absence.

This also bears witness to our Lord’s loving nature, showing us that even in the fire, his hand of grace and mercy is still extended to anyone that believes on him.

Many folks view the book of revelation with anxiety, fear, and intrepidation. A believer that understands it should view it with excitement amd anticipation. Jesus has an amazing future planned for his saints. We are not appointed to wrath.

Revelation is a book of blessings. It contains a wedding narrative. There are more blessings in the book than any other book of the bible. The Jewish wedding begins with blessings.

“To him that overcometh” are at least 14 promises, I count 21 all total, that Jesus personally makes to us. This is the Ketubah, the unconditional promises the groom makes to his bride. These promises are always recited to the bride in the presence of the city elders on the wedding day after the groom arrives back home with his bride. You will see the Ketubah and the elders in Revelation 2-4.

My Lord also personally promises me in John 14, rev 3:10 , and many other places that I will be spared the hour of trial that will come upon the whole earth. He also promises me that I will sit with him in his throne, in the city of God, with power over the nations. And there are so many other blessings. Next time you read it, look for the promises and the blessings. Just a few reasons why Revelation is my favorite book of scripture. It makes my day to be reminded of my glorious future Jesus has planned for us. ketubah is part of the Jewish wedding. It is found in the opening chapters of revelation. After the groom returns to the father’s house with his bride, the elders are called.

It is read in the presence of the city elders and the bride.

The bride had to be on the premises before the elders would come Usually 7 blessings, but there are 14 “to them that overcometh” this is the marriage contract, and it must be done first, and initiates the wedding.

Afterwards, the bride blesses her groom “thou art worthy oh Lord” 7 blessings. , a glass is broken,

Then the groom shows his bride her new home for the first time. “I go to prepare a place for you”( “A door was opened in heaven”) ”

They usually spent 20- 30 minutes alone here. “(And there was silence in heavenf for half an hour”). Finally alone, and away from the guests and the festivities, He lifts her veil and gifts are exchanged (examination and rewards at the Bema, casting crowns)

After this, they then rejoin the festivities and he reveals his wife to them unveiled for the first time. They are officially man and wife at this point. “Blessed are those that are called to tbe marriage supper of the Lamb”

I ‘ll add that ALL attendees to the wedding are given white robes “kittles” it is a requirement in the Jewish wedding.

After the final meal, the marriage supper , the wedding party THEN all picked up, and went BACK to the bride’s MOTHER’S house (the nation Israel) for another even LONGER feast “many will come from the east and the west, and sit down with Abraham” this is the party for the surviving tribulation saints. They are given the kingdom as mortal citizen saints. WE rule and reign over the gentiles as immortal kings and priests, along with David and the 12 in glorified bodies over the nation Israel. (Says NO Scofield bible)

What is rapture?

I was teaching Sunday school one morning and briefly mentioned the rapture of the bride, After I finished, a lady asked me to tell her more about the rapture “I never heard of such a thing”.

I was astonished. I could not believe she had never heard of the rapture. Since that time, This lady is in her 70’s, and I learned in short order that she was a former Jehovah’s witness from her youth.

I gladly explained to her essentially what I will share here in this post.

I have never been exposed to a lot of other religion’s doctrines, and was unaware that rapture is absent in many religions and cult doctrines.
This alone sets Christianity apart.

I have learned that rapture is basically un heard of, and rarely mentioned outside Christianity, and even IN Christianity, many sects and false teachers (Arnold Murray “we’re not gonna fly outta here”) flat out deny the rapture of the bride.

This heresy, and the ignorance of folks like Mr Arnold robs many good Christians of peace, and erodes the believer’s sense of accountability. But enough about foolish teachers.

Rapture is one of the greatest gifts Jesus has promised to his bride.

My explanation is intentionally short, and is a good summation of our blessed hope that I pray will be a blessing to others seeking understanding of this wonderful gift the Lord has promised to us.

Feel free to share this with anyone who will listen, or to encourage a fellow believer.

As I meditated on this afterwards, I really came to appreciate what a blessing we have in the rapture. As time went on, I ran across others who had never even heard of what I had previously taken for granted. This morning,
I answered this question again to a lady posted in a rapture forum on facebook, and felt led to write it down in a more permanent medium.

So here it is. “What is rapture?, can somebody explain it to me?”

My response:
“Gween, the Rapture is a lot of things: I could go on for hours, but here is a short version.”

First off, it means to remove, to catch away. The groom taking his bride in the Jewish wedding is a picture of his appearing. Jesus is alluding to the Nuisin part of Jewish wedding in (John 14). The disciples knew exactly what he was talking about. (See my other posts here about Jewish weddings and the wedding narrative in Revelation.)

Rapture also means, among other things, to spare from wrath.(Rev 3:20) Enoch and Elijah are examples. The ark was a type of rapture.
Paul calls rapture “our blessed hope” It could happen any minute.

The rapture has many implications:

For one, accountability.

Looking for Jesus to appear at any moment, and be taken back to the Father’s house for tbe marriage of the Lamb (John 14:3), and also judgement,(concerning rewards, not salvation), and giving an account of our lives to our Saviour is a great motivator and restrainer for the believer.

That IS accountability, and we should live our lives so as to not stand ashamed if called before the Lord right now.

The removal of the body of Christ, the living believers alive at the time will “take us out of the way”, which will allow the beast to rise.

So what do we look for?
Before the rapture:, The dead in Christ will rise before the living. (1 Thess 3:13-17)
This is the harvest of the New Testament saints, and those OT saints, if any, not raised in Matthew 27:52-53. (See my post “the first resurrection harvest in this same blog”.

Then we which are alive and remain will be caught up, meet the Lord in the air, and return to the fathers house for the marriage of the Lamb (John 14, rev 19)

The removal of over 70% of the USA, and 80% of the western nations will leave atheist China, allied with Russia (the dragon and the bear), and Islam’s 1 billion Muslims caliphate (the leopard) as the 3 dominant powers left on the earth. They will rule by default for a time. (See my post “the catalyst that begins the tribulation)

It is not hard to imagine what the world would be like in the days that follow. It will be hell on earth here.

But for us, we will be with Jesus at the marriage supper of the Lamb. ( Rev 5, rev 19)

After the tribulation, we return with Jesus , and rule and reign with him in his kingdom. We are not appointed to wrath , we have a lot to look forward to. That ought to make any believers day, and give an unbeliever a moment of pause.

“Therefore, comfort one another with these words”

God bless you.

Women in islam

Are in a worse state than a slave.

Authored by JP Sanharam , Facebook

Fareeha, as a Muslimah, may have her perspective but is she Allah’s spokeswoman? Or the Uswa Hasana (the perfect Muslim role model) that Allah stated in the Quran? As in this example:
>> INDEED IN THE MESSENGER OF ALLAH YOU HAVE AN EXCELLENT MODEL TO FOLLOW, for him who hopes in the Meeting with Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah much. [Q33:21]

So what does Allah say about female clothing?
>> O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to BRING DOWN OVER THEMSELVES PART OF THEIR OUTER GARMENTS. That is more suitable that THEY WILL BE KNOWN AND NOT BE ABUSED. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful. [Q33:59]

Now this revelation that came during the peak of Islam. The Messenger had power. Clearly, then molesting wouldn’t have been done by kafir men for they were being killed and their wives taken as war booty. This verse brings out that it is okay for Muslim men to abuse women who do not wear the burkha/ niqab. The veil isn’t a choice, it’s a command of Allah.

Allah understandably wants Muslim women to be recognized and not abused and that is possible only if they wore a hijab/ niqab/ chador. So when women are being disrespected, attacked, raped or even killed it is because Allah spelt it out.

Some people may say it’s oppression of Muslim women, but what people completely miss is that Q33:59 IS A CALL FOR OPPRESSION AND ABUSE OF NON-MUSLIM WOMEN.
Some Muslims even claim that the wearing a hijab-burkha-niqab is a doubtful Islamic injunction (Q24:31)
Yet those wearing it do so because it helps makes a clear Public Political Statement to the Kafir. A statement that declares that as a Muslim woman I accept:
– I am worth half the value of a Muslim man [Q4:11, Q2:282]
– I have no rights other than what my male protectors give me [Q4:34, Al-Tabari: Vol. 9, Al-Tirmidhi: Hadith 104]
– I am no more than a sexual tool to satisfy the Muslim man [Q4:20]
– I exist to provide sexual pleasure and children for the Ummah [Q65:4, Sahih Bukhari 7.62.88]
– I am so unclean that touching me requires a Muslim to undergo ritual cleansing before praying [Q5:6]
– I am equal to a dog and a donkey [Sahih Bukhari:8.161]
– My very presence annuls the prayers of a fellow Muslim [Sahih Bukhari:8.161]
– I am mentally deficient [Sahih Bukhari:1.6.301]
– I cannot testify on my own behalf [Q24:6]
– My testimony can and will be used against me [Q24:6]
– I am the prime cause for rape because its my fault for inciting men [Q4:24, Sahih Bukhari:1.6.301]

Dressing up for Jesus?

1 Tim 2:8 I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.

9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

Many churches today exclude the undesireables by setting standards they know they cannot meet.

Whether it be the outer facade of the structure, to the inner design looking like a kings palace, or a bank, to the 2500.00 silk suit and alligator shoes the preacher is wearing , they all serve to filter out the poor, “un desireables” and “shallow pocketed” believers.  Is your church guilty of this?

A lady told me the story of a poor man who would take his five children to the biggest church in town. Why? Because it was the closest to his house , and he could not afford a lot of gas, and it was too far to walk, but his wife dressed his kids as best as she could, and he made the trip every Sunday and dropped his five children off at that big old fancy church , in the middle of town across from the courthouse, you know, the one with the stain glass windows and the marble columns? 4 stories high? Yeah, that one. He didnt go inside because he did not have a fancy clothes, or even a decent pair of shoes to wear, but he sat in that car faithfully for two hours every Sunday so his children would hear the gospel in all that vanity. The “lady that told me this story is my oldest sister.

That man was my father. He passed away when I was 5 years old.

Next time you “dress up for Jesus” think about how blessed you are to be able to, and how how a poor person would feel in your church.  Are you too dressed up?  Showing off your clothes?  How would a person of a lesser station and means feel in the pew with you?

The silliness of SDA

To illustrate the silliness of SDA, for one to truly observe the seventh day as the Sabbath day, since our days are not exactly 24 hours long, and our year is not exactly 365 days long, it creates a problem. You would soon be observing sabbath on all the other days of the week also, and would very seldom see sabbath even fall on a Saturday at all.

Thats not mentioning the fact that you would have to backtrack 6000 years, to find the reference point to even begin to figure out what day to call sabbath.
