What is Jesus up to since his Resurrection and ascension? (248).

Jesus has been busy.

He has appeared to Paul (Acts 9:4) and John (Rev 1:11) since his ascension after his resurrection.

Jesus will appear again for his saints, and take us to heaven for the marriage supper of the Lamb (Rev 19) 1 Thess 4:16, rev 14:16, then later return alone to fight the battle of Armegeddon,

Is 63:3, Rev 14:20, Is 26:20.

THEN, after Armegeddon, Jesus will release his saints to return with him Rev 19, THEN gather the trib survivors for judgement. Mt 25:31-41.

We will be judges there. 1 cor 6:2, Mt 25:31-41. Rev 20:4 “Those given authority to judge” Malachi :3:16-18 “then shall ye return, and Judge”

Jesus will also personally rescue the Jewish remnant at Petra at his second coming with us.  IS 63:1.

Right NOW, Jesus is preparing for a wedding, and building our heavenly abode inside the Tabernacle of God in heaven. “I go to prepare a place for you, that where I am, there ye may be also”. John 14:1-3, 1 Thess. 4:16, 1 Cor 15:52. Rev 21.

We have so much to look forward too!

Blessings!

The Second wedding feast. More end time eschatology. (247)

Copyright James Dixon 2023.

Jewish weddings were unannounced, so they lasted a week to allow family and friends time to make arrangements to attend. (Rev 11:11, rev 14:16) Most saints will make it to the marriage supper of the Lamb at some point. (Mt 27:52-52, 1 Thess 4:16, Rev 5:9-10, Rev 7:14, Rev 11:11, Rev 14:16)

For the saints that don’t make it to the marriage supper due to time and circumstances, (rev 20:4, Mt 25:31), A SECOND feast will begin ON EARTH when Jesus returns with his saints and his Bride.

Matthew 8:11 “And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.”

This is the model for the Pretribulation Rapture, the end times and the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus. It is not hard to understand.

The seven fold harvest of saints of the first resurrection. (246)

Jesus likens the end of the world and the first resurrection to “the harvest”. Read and hopefully it will help your understanding.

In Israel, there are three harvest periods. Pesach, Shavout and Succoth. They all begin and end with trumpet blasts.

The order: firstfruits barley, barley, firstfruits wheat, (rapture), olives, then the main wheat, then pomegranates, grapes and figs, then the last ingathering, wheat and tares. The final harvest being the gleanings of the harvest. (Rev 20:4)

Mt 27:52-53 A partial harvest of OT saints. (Firstfruits barley). Jesus rose from the dead on feast of firstfruits. Thats a CLUE ya’ll. A CLUE.

1 Thess 4:16 Dead saints after the cross up to that point. (Barley).

1 Thess 4:16 LIVING Saints immediately following. (Firstfruits wheat) The Bride. Pre trib rapture (Ruth married Boaz at the end of the barley harvest).

Revelation 11:11 The two olive trees, and their fruit. Mid tribulation.

Revelation 14:16 The wheat, late tribulation martyers.

Mt 13:27, Mt 24:31 Wheat and tares.

Rev 20:4 Gleanings, post trib martyers (killed after Rev 14:16.

There are also grapes (armageddon) figs (Jewish remnant) and pomegranites. (144k).

“Each in his own order”

Blessings.

The tribulation harvests: Olive trees, Wheat, grapes, tares. (245)

The Bible uses symbolism to describe events during the Tribulation. Once a person understands the Jewish harvest, and the Jewish wedding, many Biblical things, especially the book of revelation, and end time events start making perfect sense.

Here is a simple explanation I hope helps you.

The olive trees: refers to the two prophets that come to earth after rapture, and preach for 1260 days. Zech 4:14, Rev 11, Rev 11:11.

These two men, possibly Enoch and Elijah are killed at the mid point of the tribulation. 3.5 days later, they rise from the dead and ascend to heaven.

Wheat. “And the earth was reaped” Rev 14:16. These are tribulation martyrs. They rise just before Armegeddon (rev 14:19.)

The Grapes refers to the enemy, 200 million men who fight Jesus at the battle of Armegeddon. Rev 14:19.

The Tares points to UNBELIEVERS that are alive when Jesus returns with his saints. Mt 13:30. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

They are judged in Matt 25:31-41 and executed by fire, then cast into hell.

The wheat and tares are the tribulation survivors: “Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. MT 13:30.

They are also mentioned as sheep and goats in Mt 25:31-41. The sheep “inherit the earth” enter the kingdom as mortals. They live very long lives and repopulate the earth in the 1000 year reign of Jesus.

This is also referred to as the second coming of Jesus, or day of the Lord.

Blessings!

Why is my life worse now than before I became a Christian? (244)

My friend Grace asked me a question concerning this , so I thought I would write a blog post commentary about it.

She said “I think the devil works in such a way that, even after we are saved, he attacks (or tries to) hurt us rather than just let us be”.

Oh you are exactly right Grace.

If the devil can’t get your soul, he wants to destroy you. .

The Bible says the devil roams about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he can destroy”, matter of fact, the devil focuses MORE on believers, and making their lives miserable, than he does UNbelievers,

I mean think about it, he’s got the unbelievers in his hip pocket.

I say this all the time in church. That is why we cannot get away with the things un believers get away with or the things we did before we got saved. Continuing in sin allows the devil in the door. And we will pay for it, not a salvific issue, but we are accountable, and it will shipwreck us, which is what Satan wants.

Concerning a believer, the devil wants to stop 3 things: He doesn”t want that person witnessing and sharing the gospel, he doesn”t want that person bearing fruit in good works and service to the Lord, and he doesn’t want that person LIVING a godly life in such a way as to be seen as a testimony to the Lord Jesus in his heart and life.

Yes, you are exactly right Grace, the devil will go haaard after a Christian.

That devil is just sitting there waiting for a gap he can enter into a believer’s life. That’s all he needs, and a lot of times you don’t even see him until after he gets in the door.

That is why we have to pray, we have to stay in fellowship with God, because it is literally a spiritual war that begins when a person gets saved. Lack of prayer and confession is why a lot of people are “shipwrecked” in the faith, and they are miserable.

I commend Darron about it all the time.

He says “You folks always coming to me with all these problems.. I can’t pray you out of debt, I cant pray you out of a divorce, I’ll pray for your health, but a lot of ya’lls problems you brought upon yourself because of the simple fact that ya’ll dont have a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with the LORD, and y’all are not accessing your relationship with God, and what he can do for you through prayer, and changing you, and strengthing you, sanctifying you.”

Throughout your life, but you must “take up your cross daily”, and you must allow God to work.

Jesus says “Take up your cross daily”, which means you’ve got to yield to him DAILY concerning those parts of your life that YOU KNOW need work, and there are some that you are not even aware of. You have to give it to God. No secrets.

God is NOT going to intrude on you , he’s not going to change your life, or act without your permission. There is no magic involved.

God is not going to change your life if you don’t let him, if you don’t allow him, and you have got to make it a conscious agreement between YOU AND HIM. “Lord, I’m having a problem here, I need help here, I am going to give it to you, help me oh God.” We have to pray.

Think of prayer as the altar.

YOU HAVE TO PUT IT ON THE TABLE. You have to make the sin offering, YOU HAVE TO PUT IT ON THE ALTAR.

Just like the sacrificial lamb, the sin offering. Why did they have to put it on the altar? Why couldn’t they sacrifice in the field somewhere? Because That is not how God said do it.

If at all possible, an altar had to be the place of sacrifice. The cross was an altar.

Today the altar is prayer. The altar was the point of agreement, neutral holy ground, the place where you can call sin what it is and ask GOD to help you, and forgive you. Confess means to agree. Call it what it is, and God can act.

In doing so, you give the Holy Spirit the authority to act in that part or “department” of your life if you will, and naturally you will grow, bear fruit, have peace, and GOD will keep the devil from your door.

The pre tribulation harvest of the saints. (243)

First fruits barley, barley, first fruits wheat.

Matthew 27:52-53 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose and came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. (First fruits barley).

1Thessalonians 4:16 “the dead in Christ shall rise first” Barley.

1 Thess 4:16 “then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up” (first fruits wheat, pre-tribulation rapture).

More harvests follow in the tribulation, olives, figs, pomegranates, wheat, grapes and gleanings, but those will be composed primarily of martyrs killed in the tribulation. The grapes symbolize unbelievers killed at Armageddon.

Blessings!

The Martyrs harvest. (242)

Mt 13:39  The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

Three saints harvest precede this, I will post about that soon. (Mt 27:52-53, 1 Thess 4:16 (2 companies, “the dead”, and “we who are alive)). 3 companies total “each in hus own order”.

The tribulation begins at some point after 1 Thess 4:16., and 3 companies of martyered saints come out of the tribulation.

The first martyrs harvest is the olive trees, and logically the fruits of their 3.5 year ministry..

This harvest takes place about 1260 days into the tribulation.

We will not be here, having left with Jesus in the rapture at least 3.5 yrs previously. We will be at the marriage supper of the Lamb as the honored guest, the Bride of Christ.

The first martyers harvest: 7And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. 8And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

REVELATION 11
The Angel and the Temple
1And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. 2But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. 3And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. 4These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. 5And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. 6These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. 7And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. 8And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. 9And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. 10And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. 11And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. 12And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

After this, Israel is betrayed and overrun. A remnant flees to Petra for 1260 days (3.5 yrs). The gospel is spreading across the world and millions “no man can number” are being killed for their faith in our Lord Jesus Christ as the tribulation grinds along towards Armegeddon.

Rev 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

Just before Armegeddon, those martyers killed after Rev 11 are harvested in Rev 14:14-16. 14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.

16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.

These aforementioned groups of martyers join the marriage supper of the Lamb, the marriage supper already in progress. Rev 7:9

After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

Relatively very few saints will miss out on this joyous occasion. But for those that do, and the saints that survive the tribulation, ANOTHER LONGER FEAST will take place after our Lord’s return. (In the Jewish wedding after the seven day marriage feast, the assembly went to the Bride’s home for another longer feast.)

Matthew 8:11 And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

The last Martyrs harvest is Revelation 20:4. Gleanings.

These are post tribulation saints killed after Revelation 14, which occured just before Armegeddon. They are raised to life and become priests unto God in the kingdom.

I hope this provides clarity and enriches your understanding of the end times.

Rev 20:6. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Count down to Christ/ The predictability of the Lord’s return with his saints. (241).

This post presents a view that I hope gives people a new perspective on the end times, and will enhance your understanding.

I have never heard it preached or taught, so I’ll share.

What a comfort it will be to those who accept Jesus during the Trublation to know when, to the very day, their redeemer and Saviour will arrive. What a blessing!. Ohh the night is dark, but it won’t be very long!

First sign: Pretribulation rapture. 1 Thess 4:16.

Second sign: two prophets arrive in Israel. (7 years left). The start of the Tribulation may be 20 years after rapture.

Third sign: The two prophets finish their testimony and are killed after 1260 days.   (3.5 yrs left). Rev 11:11.

Fourth sign: The two prophets rise from the dead and ascend to heaven Rev 11:11-14 (-1260 days left)

Israel is betrayed and a remnant hides at petra for the remaining 3,5 years. Others are càptives in Jerusalem.

Fifth sign: The Bowl judgements and woes.

Sixth sign: A 16 hour day. Rev 8:12.

Seventh: The wheat harvest of martyrs (late trib),

Eighth sign. Babylon falls.

9th sign: the Sun and moon darkened, Jesus returns to Armegeddon. The 200 million man army will be waiting for Jesus. THEY WILL KNOW when he’s coming, and WHERE he will arrive. Jesus treads the winepress ALONE. iS 63:3, Rev 14:20.

Jesus then opens heaven and brings his saints with him, the blood from the battle already on his vesture. Rev 19.

His angels then gather all the worlds surviving population to the valley of decision. Mt 24, mk 13:40-41. Joel 3., Mt 25:31-41. A small company of martyrs is raised at this time also. Rev 20:4.

Blessings!
